Lee Broom. Light as performance.
British designer Lee Broom came to design via theatre and fashion – and his luminaires show it. Since 2007 he has been designing, making and distributing collections under his own name that understand light as a stage entrance: precisely crafted and dramatically staged.
What Lee Broom stands for.
Lee Broom started out at drama school, won a fashion competition at 17, worked for Vivienne Westwood and studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins. That background shapes his brand to this day: every collection is conceived like a stage production – from the silhouette of the luminaire to its presentation at the design weeks in Milan, New York and London.
Founded in 2007, the house designs, produces and distributes its luminaires under its own name – with showrooms in London and New York and a presence in over 250 stores across 50 countries. Collections such as Eclipse, Vesper, Hail and Chant combine strict geometry with theatrical effect; the Cascade series was created for Lladró.
More than 30 awards document this path – among them the British Designer of the Year Award and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2015.
Lee Broom designs all collections himself and, according to the Financial Times, ranks among the most respected British designers of his generation. Beyond his own house, he has worked with brands such as Christian Louboutin, Mulberry and Wedgwood.

We plan independently of any manufacturer, choose the right luminaire for each room and task – and take care of sampling and sourcing.
