ekinex automates accommodation businesses of every size – from the B&B through the boutique hotel to the chain with 500+ rooms: access, room automation, energy management and supervision in one KNX system, PMS connection included. References from Santorini to Lake Orta.
The hardware at the room door.
Three building blocks make the hotel room smart: the card reader at the door, the card holder in the room and the Accédo Key access terminal – all in the design of the ekinex series, with KNX Data Secure.
Card reader KNX Secure · EK-TO2-TP
The door panel: RFID MIFARE reader with backlit "Do not disturb" and "Make up room" indicators plus a doorbell LED. Guest cards are automatically valid only from check-in to check-out, staff within their time windows.
Card holder KNX Secure · EK-TI2-TP
Card in, room comes alive: the holder activates lighting, sockets and climate – and saves energy as soon as the guest leaves. Two relay outputs and contact inputs for external DND/MUR buttons included.
Accédo Key · EK-ACC-KEY-IP
Door controller and reader in one slim terminal: QR-code scanner, PIN keypad, RFID and Bluetooth – outdoor-rated with IP65, for 20,000 cards. Standalone, or with the Delégo server also for KNX actions.
The front desk sees everything.
The Delégo Suite unites hotel operations and building technology: reservations flow into the system via PMS synchronisation, the Modulo Accédo manages access and keyless check-in via the guest's smartphone (Bluetooth/NFC), and the Building Overview shows every room with climate, energy and status. Virtual presence detection controls lighting and climate by actual occupancy – BACnet, Modbus and DALI integration included. Licences scale from 50 to 500+ rooms.
The guest notices nothing – except comfort.
Booking & check-in
The reservation flows into the Delégo Suite via PMS synchronisation; access rights are automatically valid exactly from check-in to check-out.
A key – or none
RFID card at the front desk or keyless via smartphone: QR code, PIN or Bluetooth through the guest app.
Room access
Accédo Key or the KNX Secure card reader opens the door; housekeeping only gets in within its time windows.
In the room
Card into the holder – lighting, sockets and climate wake up. "Do not disturb" lights up at the door and at the front desk.
Operation & check-out
The front desk monitors energy and status in the Building Overview; at check-out the access rights expire by themselves.
The television that makes itself scarce.
Made in Italy: the motorised Revélo TV lifts make the television disappear when it is not needed – inside the furniture or under the bed. Controllable via KNX, Control4 and Crestron or standalone, with anti-collision sensing.
Under Bed Lift TV · EK-BTV-BL
Three automated movements bring the television out from under the bed and up to the foot end: for TVs from 32 to 55 inches, completely invisible in the resting position – the suite classic.
Up & Down Lift TV · EK-LTV-BL / -XL
The vertical lift inside the furniture: standard up to 43 inches, XL up to 65 inches – with a piezo anti-collision sensor and only 0.1 watts standby.
